West Craft Fest returns to the Woodlands on Saturday, April 27! From 11 to 5, find local wares handmade with care by Philly's most talented makers, largely based right here in West Philly.

Shop artisan jewelry, clothing, ceramics, home wares, art prints and originals, stationery, candles, natural bodycare, accessories, children's items and more. There's also food from local eateries, live entertainment and make & take craft projects, all among the Woodlands' 54 acres of flowering trees and historic monuments.

This will be 2024's ONLY Fest at the Woodlands, so don't miss it!

In conjunction with our current exhibition season, RECRAFT, The Delaware Contemporary is hosting a SPRING CRAFT FAIR during our April Art Loop to showcase the talented artisans in our region.

Each day of this 2-Day holiday shopping event features a totally different vendor lineup, on Saturday and Sunday, December 9 and 10. Find local wares handmade with care, like cozy hand knits, artisan jewelry, unique ceramic vessels, home wares, intriguing original art, warm glowing candles, natural soaps and bodycare, holiday cards, ornaments, accessories, toys, and unknown treasures -- then come back Sunday for a whole new set of discoveries. Both days are open 10 to 4, indoors and outdoors at The Rotunda, 40th & Walnut in Philadelphia, a wheelchair accessible venue.

Redbud Native Plant Nursery is excited to be holding our 4th annual Winter Market. The open air event will be on Saturday, November 25 (Small Business Saturday) and Sunday, November 26, from 10 a.m to 2 p.m. Redbud will share their bucolic setting with over a dozen small businesses and artisans, vending allied products related to the natural world or winter festivities. A curated selection of unique, local items will create a fun, festive atmosphere and shopping experience. The vendor selection varies each day and wares include pottery, jewelry, accessories, chocolates, fine art and skincare/bath products. Redbud will be offering winter greens, cut stems, and pre-made wreaths as well as gardening tools and books.

We are heading back to our home neighborhood of Northern Liberties! We will be hosting a curated collection of local craft vendors at the Northern Liberties Neighborhood Association’s Community Center at 700 North 3rd Street.  We chose a diverse line-up of local makers so there will be something for everyone –  jewelry, tees, art, candles, home goods, pottery, soap, and even some handmade art supplies! This event is Free to Attend from 2pm – 7pm.

We invite you to explore the neighborhood while you are here! Some of our favorite shops are City Planter, Once Worn Consignment, Ray’s Reusables, Trunc, and Stump! For food, we love Kettle Black, Soy Cafe, Bourbon & Branch and the Abbaye!

What is Artists at Work? It’s a series created in the spring of 2020 that connects artists and businesses. Crafters, makers and artists set up on the street and live-create.

Hosted by Northern Liberties Business Improvement District, 14 local artists and makers will be live-creating at various business in the neighborhood. Come say hi and watch me paint!

Join me for a workshop on glassware painting!!! I will walk you through the process of glass sourcing, decoration, curing, and sealing. You will then choose your own piece from an assortment of sourced objects, including small jars with lids, large jars with lids, mason jar-like mugs, tall drink glasses, and medium-sized vases. The remaining time will be dedicated to customizing and decorating to your heart's content.

This two-hour, the beginner-friendly workshop includes all materials needed to complete your chosen piece. After the workshop, Jackie will be sealing and curing everyone's work to ensure longevity. Glassware will be available approximately two weeks from the workshop date.

The ticket price includes your glassware item, all decorative materials, and a special thank-you gift from Bird and Brush Art. We will be using paint markers as the primary decoration medium in this workshop.

This workshop will also include one free drink ticket* for a special cocktail at Martha, right next door!

The Market provides an active family oriented atmosphere offering a variety of local, handmade, and homemade goods and services. Who else is getting excited for fall? With a slight chill in the air today it got us in the mood to start sharing some of what we have in store for you next month! To start, we just wanted to remind everyone we’ll be offering a weekly market, running every Friday in October, 5-9pm! We’ll have alternating craft and artisan vendors in addition to a couple local farms and some of our downtown shops! Keep and eye out for entertainment, craft and activity announcements + more event highlights as we get closer to Monsterville!
